Earlier, Lutsenko published a photocopy of the request to the Verkhovna Rada to allow the prosecution of MP Novynskyi. The PGO says Novynskyi is suspected of kidnapping people and abuse of power together with Ukraine's former top-ranking public officials (Yanukovych, Zakharchenko, Koriak).

The Verkhovna Rada procedural committee postponed the review of the above request until the PGO provided more materials.

On Dec. 6, the committee said that it was up to MPs to decide whether to deprive Novynskyi of the immunity.
