The Ukrainian leader expressed special gratitude for Poland's support of Ukraine in its struggle against the aggressor.

"It is important that the world has finally started to speak the same language with Ukraine, recognizing Russia's aggression in the east of our country as well as the illegal annexation of the Ukrainian Crimean peninsula. It demonstrates absolutely clear and strong solidarity with Ukraine's position," the president stressed.

He particularly underscored the efficient Ukraine-Poland cooperation in developing the border infrastructure and thanked the Polish government for allocating $100 million in loan to build roads and checkpoints.

"Local border traffic indicates that visa-free travel is already in force between our countries. Ukrainians travel to Poland and Poles travel to Ukraine without any troubles. I am sure this practice should be spread all over the EU," Petro Poroshenko noted.

In turn, Andrzej Duda emphasized: "Again, there are those who try to split Europe into the areas of influence, violating territorial integrity of independent sovereign Ukraine. I am sure that not only Poland but also the entire global community will never agree with this fact. Poland is standing by Ukraine today."

According to him, Europe and world's key task is to resolve the situation in Ukraine not by freezing the conflict but by returning control over the state border to Ukraine.
