As reported by Censor.NET, press center chief of Pivden (South) Air Force Command Volodymyr Kryzhanivskyi told Ukrainski Novyny.
"The atmospheric front, which significantly worsened the weather conditions, has reached the Kherson region where the tests are held," he said.
According to the press officer, the test area is covered by heavy fog; the weather is windy and cloudy. With this regard, the tests scheduled for Dec. 2 have been postponed until the weather conditions improve.
The Air Force Command emphasized that the main tests and drills were held on Dec. 1 while additional tests and exercises were scheduled for Dec. 2.
On Nov. 25, the Russian Defense Ministry handed a note of protest to Ukraine's attache after the Ukrainian Armed Forces declared their intention to conduct missile tests off Crimea's coast.
In turn, the National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov said Ukraine had no plans to conduct the exercises in the Kerch Strait being the border between Ukraine and Russia.
