 Kremlin's lies keep distracting international community from Russian aggression against Ukraine, - Pentagon

The missile tests conducted by Ukraine not far from the coast of Russian-occupied Crimea raise no questions, while Russian claims in this respect are unfounded.

Pentagon spokesperson Michelle Baldanza told Interfax, Censor.NET reports.

According to her, the Pentagon is aware of Ukraine's Air Force exercises over international waters and Russia's claims in this regard.

Kremlin's false and misleading statements about Ukraine continue to distract the international community from the real problem - Russia's aggression, Baldanza said.

She reiterated that Crimea is part of Ukraine and recalled that the United States condemns the occupation and urges Russia to immediately return the peninsula.

On Nov. 25, the Russian Defense Ministry handed a note of protest to Ukraine's attache after the Ukrainian Armed Forces declared their intention to conduct missile tests off Crimea's coast.

In turn, the National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov said Ukraine had no plans to conduct the exercises in the Kerch Strait being the border between Ukraine and Russia.
