Poroshenko signs law to lift administrative barriers on export of services

President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law amending certain Ukrainian acts on removing administrative barriers on export of services.

Censor.NET reports referring to the presidential press service.

"We are switching from e-procurement to e-contracts. This has finally happened," the president said.

The document minimizes administrative barriers on concluding foreign economic contracts, depositing currency earnings, doing accounts and financial reporting.

From now on, the conclusion of foreign economic agreements will be possible not only in written but also in electronic form. The law forbids banks to demand the Ukrainian translation of documents concluded in English. The invoice is recognized as primary document and can be endorsed by personal signature, analogue of personal signature, electronic signature, electronic digital signature, electronic signature with single-use identifier.

"This is the first step to provide everyone, from a businessman to prime minister, with arguments why investors should enter the Ukrainian market," Poroshenko stressed.
