Censor.NET reports referring to Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency press service.
New danger areas have been established over the neutral waters of the Black Sea and partly over the Black Sea territorial waters to the southwest and southeast of the occupied Crimean Peninsula, which Russia claims to possess.
"The Ukrainian side has made another inexplicable attempt to 'intrude' into Russia's 'sovereign airspace', this time covering an area of six to 10 nautical miles (11 to 18 kilometers) from the neutral waters," the statement by the Russian agency reads.
"Rosaviatsiya informs hereby there is no danger for flights over Crimea and the airspace over the (Crimean) peninsula won't be closed for flights. Security of Russian airlines flying between Simferopol and other Russian cities is guaranteed," the agency says.
