"On Tuesday, Nov. 29, Russian FSB employees for some reasons are detaining Crimean Tatar activists. Those underage have been free to go, others are being taken for questioning.
"Those detained currently include: Hip-Hop Qirim band members (Seiran Khalilov, Eskender Chatalov, Osman Dzemaliadinov), singer Reana Tarkova, and mother of underage participant of the concert Adile Absaitova - Aishe Absaitova. Along with the singers, FSB officers also detained mother of Mustafa Dehermendzhy, a political prisoner under the "case of Feb. 26" - Alie Dehermendzhy," the message reads.
The website reports that a Crimean Tatar concert Vatan Sesi took place in Kyiv on Nov. 27. It was attended by Crimean Tatar singers, both from Kyiv and occupied Crimea. Before the concert, many Crimean Tatar singers residing in the occupied peninsula were threatened with repressions by the occupation authorities of Crimea.
