 Five Ukrainian military wounded in Luhansk region shelling by Russian militants, - Luhansk state administration

Russian terrorist troops opened fire 12 times over the past 24-hour period, aiming at residential areas along the entire demarcation line.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration, this was announced by deputy head of the administration Yurii Klymenko.

According to him, Russian mercenaries employed grenade launchers of various types, anti-tank missile systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms seven times to open aimed fire upon Ukrainian defenses near Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka of Popasna district. Two Ukrainian fighters were injured in the enemy shelling.

Militants also employed grenade launchers of various types and small arms against Lobacheve and Krymske villages in Novoaidar district. As a result, three Ukrainian soldiers were injured and a gas pipeline damaged. A repair crew has restored gas supply to consumers.

Terrorists employed grenade launchers and small arms near Stanytsia Luhanska, Klymenko said.

"Five our guys were wounded as a result of mean activities of the enemy and its inability to abide by the Minsk agreements," the official said.

As reported, pro-Russian separatists shelled Ukrainian positions 37 times over the past day. They employed 122 mm artillery and mortars in Mariupol direction, mortars and grenade launchers in Donetsk direction, and grenade launchers near Stanytsia Luhanska disengagement area.
