The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is not going to engage in conflict with the protesters outside Lukianivka remand prison and will bring the ex-Berkut soldiers accused of the Euromaidan activists’ slaughter to court “as soon as technically possible."

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Yanukovych has provoked enough violence and problems in Ukraine already. The Interior Ministry will not participate in another provocation staged by the Krmlin's puppet and engage in violent conflict with the protesters.

It is even more so because we understand and, in many respects, share the views and motives of these people. The National Police and National Guard will take the accused to the court as soon as technically possible, and when we will not be forced to take part in provocations staged by the fugitive ex-president under orders of the aggressor state," the minister said.

As reported, the activists prevented prison vans from taking ex-Berkut soldiers from Lukianivka jail to the court hearing. This caused failure of fugitive Viktor Yanukovych's interrogation by video link scheduled for today.
