 Militants opened fire upon Ukrainian positions 28 times yesterday, used mortars, grenade launchers, and IFVs, - Staff

Over the past day, Nov. 24, Russian occupation troops continued shelling Ukrainian forces' positions in all directions.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the press center of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff in its report posted on Facebook.

According to the Staff, Russian occupant troops shelled Novohryhorivka from artillery and covered villages in Mariupol direction -- Marinka, Krasnohorivka, Novotroitske, Shyrokyne, Hnutove, Slavne, and Vodiane -- from various caliber mortars. The enemy employed IFV weapon near Starohnativka.

"In Luhansk direction, our positions near Novozvanivka, Krymske, and Novooleksandrivka came under mortar and grenade launcher fire. Novooleksandrivka, Stanytsia Luhanska and Krymske were fired at from small arms.

"In Donetsk direction, grenade launchers of various systems were used by militants to spray Avdiivka. Our positions near Opytne were targeted by a sniper.

"The total of 28 cases of fire were recorded," the report reads.

Earlier, Ukrainian troops saw 48 attacks by Russian militants on Nov. 23.
