Yefremov said he was outraged by this decision and deemed it unlawful.
The former lawmaker said his defense intended to appeal against this decision on Nov. 25.
Yefremov earlier waived his counsels.
As reported, the extension of Yefremov 's measure of restraint had been considered five days in a row starting from Nov. 19. The previous session of the court began in the morning of Nov. 23 and lasted for 17 hours. It was over at 3:15 a.m. Nov. 24 and was adjourned until 9 a.m.
Earlier, Yefremov was detained in Boryspil airport the morning of July 30 on suspicion of infringement of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Yefremov is also accused of financing separatists in the Luhansk region and appropriating the assets of Luhanskvuhillia SE.
