As reported by Censor.NET citing 112 Ukraine, he said on Nov. 23 at the opening of a new Interior Ministry service center in the Luhansk region.
"...Mr. Liovochkin should be in prison, not in parliament, because he is behind the Maidan crackdown," the minister said.
As previously reported, the Prosecutor General's Office was investigating the financing of terrorism by fugitive Ukrainian oligarch Dmytro Firtash and MP Liovochkin. In particular, GDF Media Limited company, owned by Firtash (80 percent) and Liovochkin (20 percent), is suspected of transferring $100 million in favor of Channel One Russia as payment for the acquisition of 29 percent of Ukraine's Inter TV channel under a contract with elements of a criminal offense under part 3, article 258-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
