Artillery Armament design bureau, a subsidiary of Ukroboronprom state defense concern, has successfully tested the 2016 final batch of 82 mm mortars KBA-48M1.

As reported by Censor.NET, the testing was carried out as part of a state initiative to supply modern weapons to the Ukrainian military under the State Defense Order.

"In accordance with the military acceptance program, each of the KBA-48M1 mortars fired all kinds of charges. The Ukrainian army must be provided with reliable and accurate weapons in line with the requirements of modern warfare," Vadym Shtepenko, bureau's director, said.

The testing, which took place at the Divychky firing ground, was attended by MoD representatives, who noted the high quality of Ukrainian weapons and their full compliance with performance characteristics.
