 UN High Commissioner for Refugees Grandi to visit Donbas tomorrow

U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi is going to travel to Ukraine’s east on Tuesday, Nov. 22, to become familiar with the situation on the ground.

Grandi said after a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.

The U.N. High Commissioner promised to go and see the situation in the east of Ukraine with his own eyes.

Grandi also assured of the organization's commitment to provide support to Ukraine in the difficult humanitarian situation with the internally displaced persons.

In turn, PM Hroisman thanked the U.N. for the continuous support and recalled that Ukraine had already established the ministry for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons to address the humanitarian and social issues.
