 Russian militants attacked Ukrainian troops’ positions 40 times yesterday, used 152, 122 mm artillery, tanks, IFVs, - Staff

The Russian occupation troops fired upon the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area 40 times over the past 24-hour period.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center as at 6 a.m. Nov. 18.

The statement reads: "The Russian occupation troops continued firing at our positions using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements yesterday. The invaders shelled Shyrokyne with 152 and 122 mm artillery and a tank. Hnutove came under artillery and mortar strikes. The militants also mortared Krasnohorivka, Berdianske, Vodiane, and Novotroitske in Mariupol direction. Marinka was shelled with grenade launchers."

According to the Staff, the militants shelled Troitske village in Luhansk direction with 122 mm artillery, and mortar-shelled Novooleksandrivka, Zolote, Orikhove, Malynove, Novozvanivka, and Krymske. Stanytsia Luhanska came under IFV guns and small arms fire.

It is also reported that the Ukrainian forces' positions in the vicinity of Avdiivka in the Donetsk direction were shelled with a tank and infantry fighting vehicle. The invaders employed grenade launchers and small arms against Pisky.

"40 attacks were committed over the specified period," the situation report reads.
