Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center as at 6 a.m. Nov. 17.
"The militants shelled the outskirts of Berdianske and Shyrokyne villages in Mariupol direction using 152 mm artillery. The enemy also fired upon Hnutove, Marinka, Vodiane, Shyrokyne, Novotroitske, and Pavlopil with mortars of various calibers, grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms. Sniper attacks were recorded in Novotroitske, Pavlopil, and Marinka. A total of 24 assaults were committed in Mariupol direction," the statement reads.
It is reported that Novozvanivka in the Luhansk direction was repeatedly mortared while the occupants employed weapons of smaller calibers against Syze, Shariv Kut, and Novooleksandrivka villages.
In Donetsk direction, the Russian occupation troops fired upon Novhorodske, Avdiivka, and Luhanske.
"The militants committed a total of 37 attacks on our positions over the past day," the situation report reads.
As previously reported, the Russian proxies fired upon the ATO forces' positions 37 times on Nov. 16.
