As reported by Censor.NET, the head of state wrote on Facebook.
"Convincing result of the U.N. General Assembly resolution on human rights in Crimea initiated by Ukraine actually ensures that the justice prevails," he wrote.
Poroshenko said that the Russian Federation has been recognized an occupying power and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol a temporarily occupied territory for the first time in a U.N. official document.
"I am grateful to all the states that have supported the document. We are going to keep strengthening the international regulations to de-occupy Ukrainian Crimea," the president said.
As reported, the members of the Mission of the Republic of Belarus to U.N. tried to prevent consideration of all resolutions by the Third Committee of the U.N. General Assembly.
