Censor.NET reports citing in the press service of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
"According to the Interpol's General Secretariat, Judge of the Dniprovskyi District Court of Kyiv Mykola Chaus has been put on the international wanted list since Nov. 11, 2016 in order to be apprehended and subsequently extradited to Ukraine," the statement reads.
The judge is suspected of committing a crime under part 4, article 368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or undue profit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
If the suspect's guilt is proven in court, he may face 8 to 12 years in prison.
In October, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) planned to launch a special (in absentia) pre-trial investigation against Judge Chaus.
