Former FSB agent Bogdanov, who defected to Ukraine, disappears in Kyiv, - National Police. PHOTOS

The police say Russia's ex-FSB officer Ilya Bogdanov, who arrived in Ukraine in 2014, has disappeared in Kyiv.

Censor.NET reports referring to the Kyiv police department press service.

As noted, Bogdanov's friends informed the police that they had last time spoke with him on Nov. 12, 2016. Since then, they have lost touch with him, his whereabouts being unknown. Ilya Bogdanov used to be a career FSB (Russia's Federal Security Service) officer who defected to the Ukrainian side in 2014.

The police have launched criminal proceedings under article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Investigation is underway.
