 Two volunteers wounded as militants shelled Marinka

One man received a mine blast trauma and a head injury; another was wounded in the thigh.

Two men, 32 and 23 years old, got shrapnel injuries. Both were taken to the Kurakhove hospital in the Donetsk region, Censor.NET reports citing the National police of the Donetsk region.

"At 9.10 p.m, the Marinka police department was informed about two injured persons in the Kurakhove hospital. One of them is a resident of Marinka district. He received a mine blast trauma and a head injury. Another one is wounded in a thigh," the police reports.

As reported, the men introduced themselves as volunteers. They said they were injured at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now the victims are receiving medical aid.

Criminal proceedings have been opened under of article 258 (part 2 - act of terrorism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Yesterday, a local resident was killed as a result of the militants shelling of Yasynuvatskyi district of the Donetsk region. The accident was qualified as an act of terrorism.
