 NABU summons the Surkis brothers for questioning Nov. 15

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) summoned Hryhorii and Ihor Surkis for questioning Nov. 15, 2016.

As reported by Censor.NET, a source in the law enforcement agency told Ukrainski Novyny.

The brothers are to be interviewed in the case of Enerhomerezha holding company at 10 a.m. Nov. 15.

As reported, Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv attached over 116 million hryvnia (about $4.4 million) on the bank accounts of Enerhomerezha holding company at the request of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau detectives.

The law enforcers were probing embezzlement by the officials of Zaporizhiaoblenerho power provider (60.25 percent state owned) under agreements on debt recovery rights assignment allowing Enerhomerezha to collect consumers' debts for power provided by Zaporizhiaoblenerho.
