The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is currently probing 215 criminal proceedings.

NABU Director Artem Sytnyk said Thursday, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"200 NABU detectives are investigating more than 215 criminal proceedings, while 36 cases are pending before the court," he said.

According to the official, more than 100 million hryvnia has been returned to the bank accounts of the state owned companies due to the activities of the NABU.

However, the law enforcement agency head was outraged by certain courts dragging out trials.

"Back in the spring, the agency referred to the court a case against a member of prosecutors' office who tried to get a job in the NABU for a bribe. However, he has not been indicted after six months," he said.
