 Russian militants stepped up attacks all along contact line today, launched over 100 shells banned by Minsk deal, - Staff

The Russian terrorist troops committed 29 attacks on the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces’ positions across the demarcation line from midnight to 6 p.m. on Nov. 9.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center.

The statement reads: "In Mariupol direction, the enemy invited the Ukrainian defenders' retaliation 17 times using small arms, grenade launchers, IFV weapons, and mortars. Pavlopil, Hnutove, Bohdanivka, Novotroitske, Starohnativka, Shyrokyne, Lebedynske and Vodiane came under attacks in particular.

"Sniper attacks were also recorded in Shyrokyne, Pavlopil, and Bohdanivka.

"The Russian occupation troops employed grenade launchers, weapons of armored personnel carriers, and anti-aircraft guns against Novozvanivka, Novotoshkivske, Novooleksandrivka, and Krymske in Luhansk direction.

"Avdiivka and Luhanske in Donetsk direction were fired at with mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms.

"A total of more than 100 enemy shells banned by the Minsk agreements hit positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the situation report reads.
