"I believe Trump is practical man, he will lift sanctions," - Putin's aide Glazyev

The Kremlin expects transition to a multipolar world order following the election of Donald Trump the U.S. president.

Russian Presidential aide Sergei Glazyev believes that U.S. president-elect Donald Trump will lift anti-Russian sanctions, Censor.NET reports citing TASS.

He also suggests that the economic relations between Russia and the U.S. will start to improve.

"I believe Trump is a practical man, he will lift sanctions on Russia that harm the U.S. business as well. As a result, the trade turnover, financial and economic relations between Russia and the U.S., as well as the West in general, will be restored and start growing depending on economic situation only," Glazyev said.

He added it was important to secure peaceful transition to a multipolar world while avoiding further military and political tensions.
