As noted, three robbers attacked foreign students last night in Poltava.
After getting into the students' apartment, threatening with a gun and a hand grenade, the criminals seized money and cell phones. Leaving, they grabbed one of the victims but let him go soon after. At 5 a.m., a car with the suspects was tracked down in Kremenchuk.
"During the apprehension, a passenger of the car tried to escape but was arrested by patrol officers. He turned out to be previously convicted resident of Kremenchuk Tereshchenko. Another offender refused to surrender and took out an F1 grenade, threatening to use it," Troian wrote adding that after an hour and a half of negotiations the robber finally surrendered.
One more suspect, displaced resident of Donetsk Hoshovskyi who is currently living in Kremenchuk has also been detained.
The detainees are being checked for other crimes in the territory of Ukraine, police reported.
