 Civilian killed in shelling of Toretsk by pro-Russian militants, - National Police

A man aged 30 died after a shell exploded outside his house in Toretsk. The police, working under fire, evacuated his family members who were found near the body in a state of shock.

Сensor.NET reports citing the Donetsk region National Police press office.

"Projectiles fired by militants hit private houses at 8th March Street in Novhorodske village on the outskirts of Toretsk. A shell blast killed a young man who was staying outside his house," the report notes.

Despite the attack, the police were quick to arrive at the scene.

Two female relatives of the killed man were staying beside his dead body in a state of shock. The police realizing the threat of another blast quickly evacuated the women to safety and handed them over to ambulance workers.

The police continue working at the spot, assisting civilians and documenting the consequences of the strike.
