As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainska Pravda, this is evidenced by the motion to bring Vadym Novynskyi to criminal liability submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko.
According to the document, the presidents were questioned back in 2014: Leonid Kravchuk - on May 20, Viktor Yushchenko - on July 31, Leonid Kuchma - on Aug. 31.
A total of 50 minutes of interviews are mentioned in the prosecutor general's motion.
As reported, the PGO conducted pre-trial investigation under criminal proceedings in relation to the fact of abuse of power and official authority by former top-ranking public officials (Yanukovych, Zakharchenko, Novynskyi, Koriak) as well as other Kyiv law enforcement employees during the unlawful confinement of Archbishop Oleksandr (Drabynko), personal assistant of the now deceased Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Volodymyr (Sabodan).
On Nov. 3, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko published the motion to the Verkhovna Rada to get its sanction to convict MP Novynskyi of a criminal offense. The MP announced his intention to leave Ukraine the same day until Monday because of the planned trip to Mount Athos.
On Friday, Nov. 4, Ukraine's Security Service head Vasyl Hrytsak announced that the Opposition Bloc MP Vadym Novynskyi left for Greece by his own jet.
