 Ukraine to continue taking part in UN peacekeeping operations despite Russian aggression, - Klimkin

Ukraine will continue participating in the peacekeeping operations held by the United Nations Organization worldwide despite the ongoing Russian aggression.

This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

"The UN's peacekeeping activity is of paramount importance for Ukraine given the fact that this is one of the organization's key objectives and an important tool for ensuring sustained peace and stability. Ukraine's peacekeeping contingent is one of Europe's largest involved in the UN peacekeeping operations and we are proud of this contribution to the important work of the Organization.

"We are going to continue taking active part in UN peacekeeping operations despite the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine," the minister said at the UN Security Council meeting on Monday.
