Yesterday, Olena Lukash won a case against the Prosecutor General's Office in the Court of Appeal of Kyiv, proving that the PGO information about her assets abroad is false.
"Yes, indeed, it was the decision of the Court of Appeal... but it is worth to mention that it was another case which concerns the allocation of 8.5 million hryvnia to finance the absolution in the European Court of the illegal detention of Tymoshenko [Yulia - ed.]. These events took place during the time of Lavrynovych. The investigation on this matter was completed and the case was sent to the court. But the Minister of Justice Lukash ignored it in 2013," Horbatiuk explained.
At the same time, Lukash, together with other representatives of the Ministry of Justice, is suspected of misappropriation of 2.5 million hryvnia that were unreasonably and illegally allocated to the so-called revision of the Ukrainian-European law. This so-called revision turned out to be just a compilation of on-line materials.
"As of now, the all examinations were completed and I hope that the investigator and the prosecutor will decide on completion of the proceedings," he added.
