This was announced by acting deputy head of National Police in the Odesa region Anastasiia Yakubenko, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"Today, Nov. 4, the police have established the whereabouts of persons who kidnapped a 54-year-old Odesa businesswoman who has been successfully freed. Her condition is satisfactory. The criminals were apprehended in Kyiv's Borshchahivka district," Yakubenko said.
Five persons, a Donetsk resident and four Kyivites involved in the abduction, are being questioned.
As previously reported, the woman was kidnapped at about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday as she was parking outside her house at Mukacheve lane in Odesa. The abductors got into woman's Lexus, forced her in and drove away in an unknown direction. The incident was reported to the police by her son.
