 Lithuania's Dalia Grybauskaite to visit Ukraine in December, - Presidential Administration

Presidential Administration Deputy Head Kostiantyn Yelisieiev held consultations with Chief Adviser to the President of the Republic of Lithuania on Foreign Policy Nerijus Aleksiejunas and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius in Vilnius on Nov. 4, 2016.

The main topic of consultations concerned the preparation to a regular session of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and Lithuania, Censor.NET reports citing the Presidential Administration press service.

The sides discussed the situation in the Donbas and further steps within the Minsk process.

The topical issues of the EU-Ukraine cooperation were also raised. It was noted that Ukraine had fulfilled all the necessary requirements for the introduction of a visa-free regime by the EU. The Lithuanian side reiterated its support for EU's soonest adoption of a positive decision. The participants also emphasized the necessity to complete the ratification of the EU-Ukraine association deal.
