As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was announced by the prime minister on Monday.
"About 50 percent of the whole economy of the country is in shadow today," Hroisman said.
He noted that the increase in minimum monthly wages to 3,200 hryvnia ($123) in 2017 stipulates for unshadowing of the economy and untying of salaries of judges and officials from the minimum wage.
Earlier, the Ministry of Economic Development reported that the level of shadow economy of Ukraine decreased to 40 percent of its GDP as of January-September 2015.
