 MP Leshchenko declares over $100,000, 50,000 euros in cash and room in Kyiv

Ukrainian lawmaker Serhii Leshchenko reveals a 24-meter office in Kyiv owned by Viktor Yendrzhievskyi, which the MP has been using free of charge since Feb. 1, 2015.

As reported by Censor.NET, Petro Poroshenko Bloc MP Serhii Leshchenko submitted his income statement.

According to the declaration, the lawmaker owns a 60-meter apartment in Kyiv he purchased in 2010. He also obtained ownership of a 33-percent share of a 74.6-square meters apartment in Kyiv in 1991.

Leshchenko included in his statement a 24-meter office in Kyiv owned by Viktor Yendrzhievskyi, which the MP had been using free of charge since Feb. 1, 2015.

The controversial apartment in Kyiv purchased by the lawmaker for 7.5 million hryvnia was not mentioned in his income statement since it was acquired in 2016. He included it in a separate statement.

The MP owns 2014 Volkswagen Golf worth 384,000 hryvnia (about $14,700) purchased in December 2014.

Since 2007, Serhii Leshchenko has also been the owner of mutual fund shares with a nominal value of 24,000 hryvnia issued by Foyil Asset Management Ukraine.

The MP received 76,300 hryvnia in salary, 80,500 hryvnia in benefits and 42,400 hryvnia in salary from his second job in the Ukrainian Catholic University in 2015.

He also has declared 25,800 hryvnia in royalty obtained from two publishers, 55,400 hryvnia in fees and payments received from Victor Pinchuk Foundation, almost 10,000 hryvnia - from the Anti-Corruption Action Center, 24,000 hryvnia - from the Columbia University, 23,426 hryvnia - from the Institute for Human Sciences.

Serhii Leshchenko keeps $102,000 and 50,700 euros in cash.
