 New Kyiv governor Oleksandr Horhan introduced by Poroshenko

Ealier, Horhan was chosen for the post of the head of the Kyiv regional state administration by a selection committee.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has introduced new head of the Kyiv regional state administration Oleksandr Horhan, Censor.NET reports. The speech of the head of state was broadcast by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

Sept. 9, Poroshenko dismissed then head of the Kyiv regional state administration Maksym Melnychuk.

The contest for the position was announced by the president on Sept. 16. Horhan was chosen to become the Kyiv region's governor.
