As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff's press center in a report as at 6 a.m. Oct. 28, posted on Facebook.
According to the Staff, 34 provocations against ATO forces have been recorded in Mariupol direction: "Militants opened fire upon Ukraine's Armed Forces units from large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms in Hranitne and Talakivka. Taramchuk, Pavlopil, Novotroitske, and Slavne came under enemy mortar fire from 82 mm and 120 mm caliber. Defenders of Marinka, Krasnohorivka, and Shyrokyne were attacked with IFV, mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns. Vodiane came under fire of 152 mm cannon artillery and 120 mm mortars," the report reads.
In Donetsk direction, the enemy violated the cease fire 17 times, employed machine guns, grenade launchers, mortars of various calibers in Zaitseve, Opytne, Maiorsk and Butivka mine. Avdiivka defenders came under fire of all kinds of weapon, including 152 mm artillery.
It is also reported that in the Luhansk region, the occupants opened fire upon Ukrainian defenders three times. They employed small arms near Novooleksandrivka and Stanytsia Luhanska.
Earlier, it was reported about 72 cases of cease-fire violations by pro-Russian militants on Oct. 26.
