Censor.NET reports quoting Interior Ministry press officer Artem Shevchenko as saying.
"You are right, the Kyiv National Police Investigation Department is conducting certain investigative activities in this regard, but I'll give more information a bit later. Of course, [the activities are carried out - ed.] jointly with the prosecutor's office" he said.
Shevchenko refused to explain the cause for such actions.
"They are conducting investigations. As part of a certain proceeding... I can't give any details so far. I can only confirm that National Police investigators are in fact involved in these activities, including searches," Shevchenko said.
The National Bank has also confirmed searches at Kateryna Rozhkova's place.
As noted, the National Police is carrying out investigative activities as part of the probe into the bankruptcy of the Bank Mykhailivskyi PJSC. Rozhkova is in her office at the moment.
"The National Bank's board considers these actions to be yet another act of pressure upon NBU officials. All decisions about the insolvency of Bank Mykhailivskyi were taken collectively by the board and in full compliance with the current legislation," the NBU press service stated.
Previously, media reported about searches at Kaufman and NBU deputy chief's premises as part of the probe into the Bank Mykhailivskyi fraud scandal.
