This was stated by People's Front faction MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi in an interview with Censor.NET.
"There is government support here. America's stance as a worldwide human freedoms watchdog remains unchanged," he said.
"As for the readiness to provide us with lethal weapons, the opinions of the Democrats and Republicans differ. Clinton's stance on this subject is obviously more explicit and clear. As well as the fact that many Russian officials openly support Trump amid hopes for his benevolence," the politician explained.
"There were periods when Democrats and Republicans often voted together. Everyone agree that there is a violent conflict between them now, but they are united by a single issue which is not even Syria, but Ukraine. It is critical for us to continue pursuing all the contacts," the lawmaker said.
"There are many old school conservatives in the Republican Party who support us and many those who are very cautious about Ukraine among the Democrats. That's why we need to cooperate with all political forces," Mykola Kniazhytskyi added.
