"I will not allow squandering Ukrainian lands, including Donbas and Crimea," - Poroshenko

If Ukraine decides to abandon the Minsk agreements, it will automatically lose international support.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrinform, this was announced by President Petro Poroshenko in an interview to Ukrainian TV channels on Sunday.

"Everyone who's attacking 'the Minsk' should bear responsibility for what happens when there is no Minsk. If Ukraine abandons the Minsk accords, forget about sanctions. If Ukraine becomes a violator of the Minsk accords - forget about the coalition," the president stressed reacting to criticism of certain politicians towards the Minsk process.

Poroshenko noted that an alternative to the Minsk process is a military solution of the conflict of refusal from areas temporarily uncontrolled by the government.

"As a Ukrainian president, as a guarantor of the Constitution and territorial integrity of Ukraine, I will not allow anyone squandering the Ukrainian lands. This concerns both the Donbas and Crimea," he said.
