The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area was tense last night.

It was reported about 33 militants' attacks at Ukrainian soldiers in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area over the past 24 hours, Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.

In the Mariupol sector, it was reported about 22 militants' attacks at Ukrainian soldiers. The terrorists continue to use large-caliber guns. The ATO forces' positions at Marinka and Krasnohorivka were fired from 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. Pavlopil strongholds were shelled with 152 mm guns and 120 mm and 82 mm mortars. The militants' sniper was spotted near Talakivka, Hnutove, and Shyrokyne.

Eight militants' attacks reported in the Donetsk sector. The ATO forces' positions at Zaitseve and Luhanske were shelled with 120 mm mortars. At the same time, Novhorodske and Nyzhnie Lozove were fired from an IFV weapon, 82 mm mortars. Moreover, Avdiivka was fired from tanks, 152 mm and 122 mm guns, 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms.

Three cases of violation of the cease-fire were recorded in the Luhansk sector. Thus, Novotoshkivske was fired from machine guns of various caliber. Krymske was mortared with 120 mm shells.
