Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko announced today at a briefing in National Academy of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports citing 112 TV Channel.
"I have a simple goal - to submit the case of Yanukovych and his associates to the court by the end of the year. Not some day in the future but this year," Lutsenko said.
Yanukovych fled from Kyiv to Russia on Feb. 22, 2014. Law enforcers suspect Yanukovych of mass killings of protesters during Euromaidan and a number of financial crimes.
