Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko announced today at a briefing in National Academy of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports citing 112 TV Channel.
"I want to say once again that there is a competition to fill about 600 vacancies in the Prosecutor's Office. We are replacing every third head of local prosecutor's offices. We have plans to fill about 600 vacancies at different levels of the PGO," Lutsenko said.
According to him, credibility of the government policy has increased over the past year.
"I am very pleased that we have more than 70% candidates whose background isn't connected to the prosecution system. This means that in contrast to previous years (when this number reached 12%), the credibility of the government policy of reforming of the basic structure of the PGO has increased over the past year," he said.
