Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center as at 6 a.m. Oct. 21.
According to the Staff, 26 cases of truce breach were recorded in Mariupol direction. The militants fired at Pavlopil with large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms. The enemy shelled the ATO forces' strong points in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka, Shyrokyne, Marinka, and Taramchuk with 120 and 82 mm mortars.
Six attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Army were committed in Donetsk direction.
"The defenders of Luhanske village were assaulted with small arms, machine guns, and grenade launchers while the Russian occupation forces additionally employed a tank, 152 and 122 mm artillery, as well as 120 and 82 mm mortars against Ukrainian soldiers in Avdiivka," the situation report reads.
Nine provocations against the ATO forces were recorded at the Luhansk direction: "The enemy fired at Novozvanivka and Triokhizbenka with machine guns, grenade launchers and small arms and again shelled Stanytsia Luhanska with 82 mm mortars."
As reported, the Russian militants committed 30 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oct. 19.
