 NATO to raise Crimea, Minsk deal issues during next NRC meeting, - Stoltenberg

The alliance is going to raise the issue of illegal annexation of Crimea and insist on the full implementation of the Minsk agreements at the upcoming meeting of the NATO-Russia Council.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Brussels, Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine.

According to the secretary general, Ukraine has always been on the agenda of all meetings of the NATO-Russia Council since 2014.

The alliance is going to reiterate its strong support for Ukraine at the next NRC meting and emphasize the need for complete implementation of the Minsk agreements and the introduction of the road map initiative, Stoltenberg remarked.

He recalled that NATO had expressed such a support at the council's July meeting and stressed that it would never recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea.
