Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center as at 6 a.m. Oct. 20.
According to the Staff, 21 provocations against the ATO forces were recorded in Mariupol direction: "The occupants fired at strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Marinka, Pavlopil, Lebedynske, Slavne, Starohnativka, and Shyrokyne with large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers, and small arms. The militants also shelled Krasnohorivka with 82 and 120 mm mortars. Vodiane came under the enemy strike with 122 and 152 mm cannon artillery.
It is also reported that the militants breached truce in Luhansk direction four times: "The enemy fired at the ATO forces' detachments on the outskirts of Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka with grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms. Stanytsia Luhanska was shelled with 82 mm mortars.
The militants committed five attacks in Donetsk direction.
"The Russian occupation troops used machine-guns, grenade launchers, and IFV guns against the Ukrainian soldiers deployed in Luhanske as well as shelled Avdiivka with 82 and 120 mm mortars," the situation report reads.
As reported, the Russian militants attacked positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 57 times Oct. 18.
