Fugitive Party of Regions members plot media attack on Ukraine's chief prosecutor, - MP Ariev

People's deputy of Ukraine Volodymyr Ariev says former high-ranking members of ex-President Yanukovych's Party of Regions are preparing an information attack on Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko.

Censor.NET reports referring to Ariev's Facebook page.

"Fugitive Party of Regions members are preparing a massive media attack against Yurii Lutsenko and one of his deputies. The information is reliable. Klymenko-Kurchenko-Zakharchenko have already allocated a big chunk of money to discredit the prosecutor general. They are ready to go to extremes to put pressure on the Prosecutor General's Office and investigators so as to avoid criminal liability for Ukraine's total robbery during 2010-2014.

"I'll say it again, a big chunk of money. This is not the first cynical campaign launched in Ukraine by Yanukovych's villains for the money they stole. Just imagine how much Klymenko's campaign, including the fake party and free newspapers, is worth. He is trying hard, because many tax officers are testifying against him in criminal proceedings into money laundering by an organized crime group, because he is facing conviction in absentia.

"Therefore, a media attack is coming and you know who paid for it. All this once again proves the fact: Klymenko-Kurchenko-Zakharchenko and other bastard will not stop until we stop them," Ariev wrote.
