"French Foreign Ministry should better demand Russian aggressor to leave Ukraine’s occupied territory," – Interior Minister Avakov on Ayrault’s statement regarding Normandy Four meeting’s objectives

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov believes that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France should better call on Russia to leave the occupied territory of Ukraine.

The minister wrote on Facebook commenting on the statement made by Head of French Foreign Ministry Jean-Marc Ayrault that the purpose of the meeting in the Normandy format would be progress in the issue regarding "the status of the Donbas," Censor.NET reports.

"Perhaps the French Foreign Ministry should better demand that the Russian aggressor leaves the occupied territory of Ukraine rather than deal the final blow on Ukraine by calming the aggressor down! Or what is the point of such format of negotiations for Ukraine?" Avakov wrote.

Earlier, Avakov tore to pieces French president's statement on the Donbas by saying that Hollande took too much upon himself.
