As reported by Censor.NET, this was stated by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.
"The Ukrainian side of the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the cease-fire in the Donbas) previously showed the devastation caused by attacks on this town on the night of Oct. 15 while the enemy increased the intensity of artillery and mortar strikes just the next night. This time not only the inner suburbs but also high-rise buildings and infrastructure facilities were impacted.
"A five-storey building on Druzhby Avenue was significantly damaged by a 122-mm artillery shell. Strikes with 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars also damaged farm buildings located on the same avenue.
"Marinka utility provider's assets also sustained damage from mortar strikes.
The Staff noted that it was the most devastating strike on Marinka's residential neighborhoods committed by the "DPR" militants since late August.
"It is likely that the "DPR" leaders have started a new campaign to intimidate peaceful residents in the Donbas to invite retaliation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the ATO Staff press center reported adding that the representatives of the Ukrainian side of the JCCC had carefully documented all the cases of truce breach and the use of weapons banned by the Minsk agreements by the "DPR" militants. The collected evidence was handed over to representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine.
