Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"The former chief accountant of "Ukrspyrt" State Enterprise (2012-2014) Voloshchuk was apprehended by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General's Office. Roman Voloshchuk is suspected of embezzlement of the pubic funds," he wrote.
"Voloshchuk transferred about $750,000,000 to the accounts of fictitious companies by prior agreement with the head of "Ukrspyrt" Oleksandr Hart. Moreover, the apprehended is suspected of tax evasion up to a figure of $175 millions," Lutsenko wrote.
