 Poroshenko, Merkel discuss situation in Donbas

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The parties discussed the situation in the Donbas. Poroshenko informed German Chancellor about the increasing number of attacks committed by the Russian militants mainly overnight. He also noted the importance of the permanent OSCE observation points' deployment in the areas of troops' disengagement.

President of Ukraine and German Chancellor discussed efforts to accelerate granting of visa-free travel for Ukrainians and ratification of the Association Agreement.
