Somali Battalion sees full demoralization, militants demand immediate dismissal, - journalist. PHOTOS

After a month of skirmishes in Avdiivka's industrial area, "DPR" Somali Battalion militants addressed their leadership in an open letter with a request to immediately dismiss them and terminate their contracts.

This was announced by Censor.NET's Chief Editor Yurii Butusov in his blog post.

"One of the leading Russian propagandists of war against Ukraine Andrey Chervonets posted an impressive "Inquiry by Somali fighters to the command of the '1st army corps of "DPR".'" This inquiry reads about full demoralization of Somali Battalion commanded by terrorist Givi - Mikhail Tolstykh.

"60 percent of soldiers of Somali Battalion of the 1st army corps of the Russian Federation army are leaving - they write that terrorist commander Mikhail Tolstykh "attempts to keep them with violence and lies." All of them just decided to terminate their contract and leave the '"DPR" army.' As they stayed in the rear and looted [the areas], it was OK with them, but after spending a month in the industrial area they turned pacifists. No new militants agree to come and serve in Somali in the industrial area!" the journalist wrote.

"Chervonets didn't mention where Somali currently is, but we know that a month ago they took positions in the industrial area of Avdiivka. They have replaced the units of the "Republican Army of "DPR" Brigade. Its units were put for rotation due to significant losses suffered by the enemy in a skirmish with the 122nd Battalion of the 81st Brigade, separate units of the 58th Brigade, and the 5th Battalion of Ukrainian Volunteers Army. And here's an outcome - after a month of close combat, Somali Battalion is also off-the-line!" Butusov wrote.

The journalist also suggested that Ukrainian soldier Masi Nayem serving in Avdiivka's industrial area told his company commander and comrades that "Russian mercenaries leave after one month where Ukrainian soldiers have been fighting for six months."

"Respect to all Ukrainian military fighting near Avdiivka," Butusov summed up.Источник: https://en.censor.net.ua/p410135
